New TGOGF Chapter Release!! Chapter 0156 and a request

Sup Folks

Sorry due to constant raining, the electricity in my building is playing hide and seek with us. But I still managed to bring you the 3rd and final regular chapter of the week.

But before that, I was just informed that there is an aggregator site out there somewhere on the internet that is hosting our works along with works of several other translators. I do not know about the others, but they did not receive any permission from any of our members to host our works.

Being a Machine Translator is already hard enough to deal with, not to mention that we have to put in more hours and work in translating and getting things right so that you all could have a good reading experience. But then when you see someone trying to use your work for making money, moreover without even your consent or even a courtesy message, it really pains us and angers us at the same time.

Being a Machine Translator, I have to put in twice, thrice or sometimes four times the effort and hard work than the Manual Translators (no offence to manual translators in anyway) out there, plus this is something that I do with a dedicated team of TLCers, Editors, Proofreaders and of course you readers. We only do this because we like translating and nothing else, as such we are even willing to put in more time for this, plus side being we also get to learn the language.

Moreover some of us rely on the Ad Revenue generated or the donations received to ease our financial burdens. As such these aggregator sites (I am not complaining that they might have not worked hard for it, it is just that us being in a such a large translating community, a certain ethics is what is required) essentially hurt us both financially and also mentally. Moreover there have even been a few cases where the translators straight up dropped their projects because of such things (Not everyone can join the big sites and enjoy a bit of protection, if you will, from them).

So when such type of sites crop up, it makes it difficult for us to go on. I might still trudge on through it, but what about the others, the others who just started.

As such, my humble request from all our readers is that, if anyone of you find such sites then please report it to the respective translators of the series so that they are also made aware of this and can at least take some action to curb such things.
