CurlyAdi and SmartyMouth here, not a chapter post though, DemonKiller is at his work at the moment, so we decided to experiment a bit with some new themes to spice the site up a bit . So you might have noticed that the themes have been changing every time you refresh the page or notice something being added or deleted (soo sorry for that).

So, after experimenting with a lot of themes we kind of decided on this current one (notice the cool background he he). So, if there are any kinks or bugs that you do notice, then please do point them out, preferably use the comments for this post to post your thoughts/bugs or whatever you find bothersome.

So I have been thinking about this for a while now, a lot of you people correspond with us through mails, mostly to point out a few mistakes that slipped by us, and in all honesty, it becomes a problem for us to go through each and every mail that you send us and it even takes more effort for us to write back to all of our respondents, you have to know that we are only three people here who also have their own lives and responsibilities to take care of, so trying to reply to each and every mail that we receive is too cumbersome and time consuming, not that we are complaining through as all three of us reply to all the mails sooner or later.

Some of the mails we receive are related to some sort of corrections for mistakes that slipped by us, so to reduce the burden on us (at least in this regard) we decided to create a Google Form Response Sheet for all of you, it also saves you the time to open up your mailbox and type out your suggestions, so that you can directly submit your suggestion to us, without the hassle of going through all that.

You can access the form from here, or from the menu too, depending on your ease. (P.S. you might have also noticed a slight change in the main menu)

I’m finally back from my business trip, yup home really is the best place to be. It seems you all enjoyed a lot of ‘fun’ remarks from my sister CurlyAdi and SmartyMouth while I was out.

That aside, I was actually surprised when CurlyAdi said that she read to Chapter 683 in the raws, while I still am only at Chapter 150 dammit. There’s a long way ahead to catch up to her, must be really nice for her to be able to read Chinese. Hmmm… maybe I should fire her and look for another TLC who would not try to give out every little spoiler there is in the story to my face. Will have to discuss this with SmartyMouth and our overlords (our parents) who will definitely interfere in the matter. Or maybe I should punish her with something else…. What are your opinions for this?

A small change in the previous chapters, Yun Xing and Qing Yun 5 Star Academies have been changed to Falling Star and Clear Sky 5 Star Academies (I was going to make this change 2 weeks ago, but forgot about it due to work), moreover, from now I will try to get the English Equivalents for the Names/Places (if they exist!! otherwise I use the Chinese terms).

Its me CurlyAdi once again, bro will finally be back from his business trip by tomorrow. So all would not have to deal with me much 😉

Before going through to read the chapter, there are a couple of small changes since I have finally read to the halfway point in the current raws, i.e. right now I am at Chapter 683 in the raws. Where if we use a few of the current terms it would only cause confusion to you all. So in order to avoid that, here are a few corrections for the grading of the cultivation methods and techniques:

Ordinary Level -> Ordinary Grade

True Level -> True Grade

Black Level  -> Profound Grade

Tian Level -> Heaven Grade

I already made the changes in the glossary, and as for the changes in the previous chapters, I’ll do it tomorrow.

So this happened yesterday, as we were eating dinner, my sister CurlyAdi, who you might have known from the previous posts, is studying Chinese for the past three years in her college and has taken it up as her minor, suddenly asked me out of the blue as to why I chose to translate the title 造化之门 of the series that I was translating here as “The Gate of Good Fortune” rather than “The Gate of Creation” or “Nature’s Door” or (going by the literal translation)  “Good Luck Gate” which are actually a more accurate translation of the title. Moreover even SmartyMouth chipped in that he had seen some chats on the other websites that say that the main reason why they don’t read this series is because we didn’t even translate the title correctly (Don’t burn me for this as even I am not sure about this as he always has a tendency to make things up and exaggerate things to out of proportions). If anyone wants to know, then this chapter actually took me almost 5-6 hrs to translate especially to get the terms right.
